Oldland Common, Bristol
Masterplan Proposals

Outline planning application submitted for a mixed use development on circa 18 hectares of land on the east of Oldland Common.

The proposed masterplan includes up to 450 homes, an area of land safeguarded for a new primary school, a care home, a local centre (mix of retail/employment - A1, A2 and B1 uses), open space, 2 vehicular points of access and associated infrastructure.

The scale of the development proposed, predominantly 2 storey buildings with pitched roofs, is such that with retention of the existing landscape features, the scheme will have limited visual impact on the surrounding area.

The final mix of residential accommodation will be subject to a further period of detailed design development and a future reserved matters planning application.
