Unanimous planning approval secured for the mixed use redevelopment of the former cattle market and fire-damaged Highbridge Hotel site.
The scheme includes the sensitive conversion of the historic hotel to provide 22 bedrooms for use by the YMCA, with a community activity centre, coffee bar and meeting rooms at ground floor level.
59 affordable homes are proposed on the market site, together with a Multi-Use Games Area.
